Oil leaks with synthetic

Has anyone switched to synthetic oil in their bus and ended up with leaks? I’ve heard from a few sources that switching to synthetic oil in an older engine can cause leaks to appear that weren’t there before.

It makes sense that since synthetic is less viscous that it could leak through small places the a thicker oil couldn’t but has anyone done the switch to synthetic? I’d be curious to know either way leaks or not.

Oil flow test at 7 minutes in this video. T4 is the 15w40 conventional motor oil. T6 is the full synthetic 5w40. “Cooked” was heated earlier in the video for a couple hours.
