splice in a switch to your switch panel to effect the same action as the outside keylock. all a keylock is is a key accessed switch.then whether inside or out you can lock it. imo.

Photobucket, imgur, Flickr. Any of the photohosting sites will provide you with a url for sharing. It'll generally look like what's below in the red box

Thats what I do.
I have a factory lock on my front door.

You could put a barrel latch, on the bottom of the door with a small hole in the floor, to lock it from the inside.

for the back door I drilled hole in the inside handle, and the bracket , and I just put a pin in it, front door I use the factory lock, when we stay in the bus we lock the front door from the outside, you cant open the door, the handle just spins around, works good.

You guys are making this too complicated. Hire one of these guys. I think they work for cheap.

Cool

haven't installed the receiving bracket on the wall to lock the floor board in the up position when loading, or the bottom side grab handle to assist in embarking, or disembarking.

The gun is cute, but I'd rather have monkeys trained to use air tools right now.

I don't have metal strips in the middle of my front doors. They're aluminum framed glass. The glass is uninterrupted from top to bottom.

My doors are similar with nothing really strong to bolt to. I've thought of attaching a couple large handles big enough to at least put a broom stick through to secure the door from the inside at night.

I'm really liking the idea of the deadbolt lock for front and back doors.
I was struggling coming up with a way to lock the front door especially, since we're keeping the classic bifold+manual swingarm mechanism. As far as i can tell, with that type of motion, a regular lock won't work, as the door slides right out of it from the side.
Instead, if one of those "Jimmy-Resistant" deadbolts (as they are called on the 'big-orange-store') are used, then the door will be secured. In theory, at least....
Monkeys with shotguns? I LIKE IT EVEN MORE!
