shocks/stuts for duley

Anyone know what the difference is between rear struts/shocks for a duley or a non duley system (not sure I spelled duley right, please correct my spelling if it's wrong, duley: 4 wheels on one axel). I'm trying to do some research on the suspension of our e350 7.3 powerstroke diesel and what I've seen is they look similar but i'm not sure if they are the same. Any help y'all can provide would be awesome. I'm not a mechanic but my partner kind of is but has asked me to do the research since he's never worked on a diesel or any vehicle of this size or scope. Thanks ahead of time!

Dually. (And axle.)

They are regular shocks in the front + back. Tell the parts guy you have a e-350 partial chassis-there is a listing. Many busses + motorhomes used this chassis. Theres HD shocks available.

Shocks

So I've got an E-450 6-window Collins. I need shocks too. My research shows that Bilstiens are the cats ass for these chassis. All the reviews are good. They are available from many different sources, at many different prices. I found them for $330/set. Can't remember where. You have to shop

They have two different sets for E450; HD and standard (comfort). Std (comfort) is for vehicles less than 30ft. HD is for over 30ft. Even tho my bus is 23ft overall, I'll be buying the HD as I plan to drive it in the dirt.

I don't have my research on this device, but here's what you do to find the proper shock at the best price.

1. Download the Bilstein shock application guide. It's a bigass PDF file, and dig thru it until you find E-450 Cutaway or Chassis cab. I think it's in the last few pages.

2. Pull out the part #s you want, run a Google search on each part # (Bilstien 34xxxx234-1...for example) and then see what you come up with. Somebody will have a good price. Maybe Amazon. Maybe Summit Racing. Maybe Parts Geek.

Monroe has an RV shock that's supposed to be OK...but they're $200/set and the difference in price over the life of the bus is negligible. Amazon for those.
