Short bus/shuttle bus buying woes

ok i am selling my VW bus and looking at buying a shortie/shuttle.
6.5 vs 7.3
ive heard so many different things
i passed on a 7.3 shuttle due to the rust and lots of it.
i have a chance a at a 6.5 shortie in great shape just needs a fuel pump.
Help!

We just took in several 2001 IC CE buses with front lifts. They have the T444E engine and Allison automatic transmission. Mileage is in the 135,000 to 175,000 mile range.

They have seven or eight windows IIRC.

Asking price will be in the $4,500.00 neighborhood.

I hate working on small one ton buses.

Get a short, full size chassis bus.

The one ton is always over loaded. The full size will never be overloaded.

Bigger brakes, tires, better engines, ect.

If you think a 42 foot bus with air brakes stops nice, try a 15 foot with air brakes. You could ride the brakes all the way down a mountain with out over heating them.
