T444E intercooler, radiator and oil leak repair

As the photos show, I'm halfway through replacing the intercooler and getting in to fixing some of the oil leaks on my T444E...

As the photos show, it looks as if my bus had the upgraded cooling system installed, but the intercooler was toast so the P.O. bypassed it which lead to a semi overheating condition when climbing hills.

Still looking for an intercooler, but the radiator has been repaired and cleaned!

Questions:

1. I noticed a significant oil leak coming from a plate below the HPOP. Anyone know what this is or the best way to seal it up? Previous owner tried formagasket but that's obviously not working...

2. Anyone know of a more affordable electromagnetic fan clutch option besides the Horton? Trying to not spend the $800 to get this bad boy cool... I currently have the old fan clutch locked on, which doesn't seem too terrible.

Thanks in advance!

If I recall correctly, that metal plate has an o-ring behind it. The plate on my bus was leaking so I took it off, cleaned it very well, Ospho and painted it. The seal seat was pitted so I ended up using RTV sealant. It's not leaking anymore.

Copy that. Thanks for the heads up!
