Sorry for the delay. Please see what my throttle cable looks like. There are two cable bracket "holes" and only one is populated - the one that is populated is mechanically linked to the gas pedal. The second would be used for an aftermarket throttle control like a cruise module. What I'm not sure of is whether or not factor cruise uses a second throttle cable through the second hole, or if they use the primary throttle cable.

Thoughts? Again this is a Chevy 6.0L gas motor from 2003.

Installed the new turn signal lever - no cruise control

Not sure if I want to drop the $350 for the full kit - anyone have experience installing that?

Darn - I was hoping that the lever would be all that's needed for your bus (and mine)... I plan to do the full kit eventually. I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but I expect to do so before October. I'll try to remember to post back to this thread when I'm done.

Generally there is a servo mounted under the hood and linked to the throttle body by a cable--at least on the non fly by wire models. If the addition of the stalk switch activates the cruise light on the dash it is likely that the related wiring under the hood for the servo will also be there. If so, it might be possible to find a used servo etc at the junk yard. Even if you can't find a bus unit it is likely that the same servo is used on other brand related vehicles. To identify these alternatives use e-bay to cross reference applications.
