There's no concern with the coolant level. If you added antifreeze and haven't run the engine, the coolant hasn't gotten past the non opened thermostat to mix with the coolant in the engine. After filing with coolant, rinse off any residual coolant on the outside so you can better determine where the leaks is coming from.
