I have a manual 1976 chevy bus and ya have to floor it to get it going and it’s exhausting to have continue to push the pedal to the floor to keep moving at a good speed! Can’t imagone going any long distance driving like that! Any suggestions on making that easier?? Thanks for your time!
Well, my snow removal tractor has a throttle keeper setup, something like that would work but it wouldn’t be legal or particularly safe for on road use.

might be possible to put a lighter spring on the gas pedal. Just be sure it will return to idle when you let off. Also oil all moving parts in the throttle linkage.
