2008 6.6L EGR valve

Hello all. I recently purchased a 6.6L Midbus and it gave the EGR exhaust flow insufficient code on the way home, and went away on its own. I've have 3 mechanics look at it. 2 said it would be fine and I just need to take it out and clean it, and another said the whole EGR system needs to be replaced as its going to be the cooler. Im looking into deleting the EGR so I dont have to worry about it, and Im looking for suggestions. I just got it so im still trying to figure out where it even is, So any tips or related experiences would be great.

I deleted the EGR on my truck. 2005 LLY duramax. I used the EFI live tuner to flash my ECM so it wouldn't throw any codes. There are several options to delete the EGR. I completely removed mine. Not sure what state you are in and if you have DEQ to deal with.
