Another big block 366 question
Hello all,
Well 3 years full time now. Amazing life.
I have shut off the two valves under the hood and am curious if this is OK?
It appears to me that the water pump still works and is not obstructed to the radiator and block, is this correct?
Looks like the inside heater cores sort of tap off the block and water pump. Is this correct?
May i drive with these valves off?
Thanks!

You can with them off and not effect the motor a bit. But you probably won't have any window defroster for driving or cabin heat.

You should be able to shut these off and have no affect besides losing your heat to the inside a bit .
I actually had coolant lines running to a rear heater I had to remove and U off near the driver seat .
