Angry My bus starting automatically without key

I have an 87 GMC School Bus I've been having trouble finding the manual everything is fine and everything then I replace the battery today and I have a battery disconnect switch inside the bus but I went to turn that on and start it and right when I switch the switch on it's trying to turn itself over without the key even in the ignition it's never done this before I don't know if these have a starter relay or what but I need to fix this ASAP it's the 8.2 liter Detroit Diesel anybody who has any ideas let me know or if it has a starter relay let me know the ignition switches new and even with it unplugged it's doing this so I'm thinking maybe the starter relay or solenoid is stuck but I don't know

Where are you located? I'm parting out to scrap an 87 BB with that motor in it. If you need anything from it LMK.

Runs fine, but is showing no oil pressure. No oil to the compressor. Just recently made the decision to scrap it, so nothing has been removed yet.

I’m willing the bet the bendix/solenoid itself on the starter has failed. I just had this exact problem last week on a Land Rover. Starter would continually run with the batteries hooked up. Replaced the starter and it’s all “goochi”, as they say.
