I had one of those a decade or more back. It was pretty quick for having a 350 in it.

WTF do these people do to their buses. So many shorties, yet all piles of trash.

The DC buses, at least all those shorties, are almost always garbage.

often they are just looking for parts-harvesters.. perhaps other fleet managers that may want engione parts.. heads, injectors, etc.. or even aftermarket parts companies that sell diesel powerstroke parts looking for cores to rebuild and sell.. so a non running engine that has no hole in the block, a transmission thaty can be rebuilt, etc is worth a few hubdred bucks or so if the bus is close.. and then they can part out A/C parts, etc and sell them.. injectors, heads, etc..
when I wrecked my old cadillac fleetwood across the side of a Semi truck.. I hit it HARD.. insurance paid out, and then i bought the car back from them for Pennies on the dollar, and I made a boon selling the perfect condition seats, the unmolested dash pieces, rear trunk lid, the 3 doors that werent bent, interior door panels, the perfect auithentic cadillac wire wheel caps, the factory radio, climate control head.. all kinds of stuff that restorers / collectors wanted.. I made 10X what i paid the insurance company to get that car back...
sometimes parts are worth more money than full units..

Whatever someones willing to pay.
I know a new one like that would be $50,000 at least. A clean, low mile used one like that could go for upwards of ten g's, i'd imagine.

When ever I read stuff like this on low miles vehicles . . . makes me wonder.
Transmission is nonfunctional, the vehicle will not move.

So summer is here. I've been able to set up my schedule so that I'm free monday through friday
I work every single weekend though
and yet not shorty.
What I like gets bid high and what is bid low has problems beyond my skill set.
So should I have better luck buying a bigger bus?
I basically just want to take trips around florida during the week with my son. low profile, low maintenance, low key, but high fun

After getting to know you and discussing this with you for a while I'd say I think you're just being a bit timid.
I've seen you pass up some bargains that if I had your budget I'd be all over, man.
Stay at it, you'll land a keeper.
I'm going to PM you one that I was personally gonna try to buy. A real cherry.

OIL Change ( how often)
oil change on regular cars.
so I've heard to change every 3k or 5k or even more, but today I was reading the owner's manual on my honda fit and it says to go by the % shown on the dashboard.
I further read that the computer takes multiple factors (Number of starts [cold and warm], engine speed, operating temp, engine load) into calculating that %.
Up to now my method has been: regular oil changes (non-synthetic/cheapest) every 3k miles.
Question:
Should I trust the computer? Or should I just change every 3k or 5k?
