throttle issue

I have a 96 Blue Bird Chevy with a gas 366 with a throttle body. when Im driving some times Ill "loose the pedel" for example if Im driving 55 mph down the road and let off the gas to slow down for a stop light and I get back on the gas nothing happens, The engine is still running but wont go or rev up while pushing pedel, to remedy the problem I shift the automatic trans in neutral the back to drive and then I have a pedel. it feels like a broken cable but its not its electronic so thats where i think the problem is. any ideas? Thanks

Re: throttle issue

check your throttle springs and carb linkages. might need lubing. same with throttle cable.

Re: throttle issue

Ill try that this weekend, I also have another Throttle Body if I have to swap out. what kind of lube do I need to try? and where do I apply? Im guessing anywhere I can get on the cable. Thanks.
