I really like that ramp! I've got a scooter I'm taking with me this summer on my trip. Having a ramp like that would make it incredibly easy to get in and out of the bus.

Is it a bear to lower & raise again because of the weight?

The way it sits now its an easy 2 person job to raise and lower. working on an idea to put a harbor frieght winch underneath/between frame and have a pulley at the to to raise and lowwer. could be trick with the remote winch..will post pics of soon.

Oooo! Today while shopping I saw the perfect kit to help raise and lower that setup.
It's at Northern Tool and is called a Gorilla-Lift 2-Sided Tailgate Lift Assist, Model# 40101042G!
Check it out when you have time.
If it doesn't work, you could always go back to the pulley setup.

That is a very cool system. But the new 4.33 rear end we just bought pretty much drained the bus fund. Gotta couplet ideas up my sleeve though. Hope to post more of the pics in the next couple days..
