What coolant to use in 1995 dt 466? I have a Napa 4071 coolant filter installed?
Thanks,
Tracy

With anti-cavitation additive or you'll screw the engine!

You should get coolant test strips and see where the levels are before you start throwing random amounts of additive in the radiator or filter.

I'd flush it, buy some real good stuff (I use CAT and it's good for like 150,000 miles) and replace the filter with one that is NOT charged with SCA's.
Good coolant can last for a long time and it is just as important as oil in a wet-sleeve engine.
I just change the filter every year.
