2002 3000IC T444E - Help with error code

Hi Guys,
I bought a scan gauge the other day to clear out my old codes and get some more monitoring going. The codes I cleared haven't come back but I keep getting a new code everytime I start the bus.

I looked up code 2003 according to scan gauge and it's for diesel exhaust filter, but my bus doesn't have one and as far as I know they weren't introduced until 2007. I can tell scangauge to ignore the error but I just wanted to see if there might be something else going on before I do.

127 is engine brake control pressure signal out of range high
witch means it could be just the brake light switch, I have a scan gauge, and once in a while ill get a code like that and it knocks out my cruse control, I just clear the code and all is fine, just google the codes.
btw love the scan gauge will worth the money, recommend it for every one.

Thanks for responding gbstewart! I'm definitely loving the scangaugeD. I got it mostly to watch my trans temps, boost pressure, and of course clear codes.

I do have a brake warning light on my dash but ... I don't have an engine brake.

127 is the error count, or the number of times the error is reported.

15 is the 'failure mode'. According to the manual 15 is reserved for future assignment lol..

2003 is the actual error code..

I guess I'll just ignore the code.. Doesn't seem possible that I could have 127 error count on the first start right after clearing the code.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you are, you can take it somewhere and see what their scanner reads. From time to time we'll get odd codes like that coming from our cheaper scanner that won't be there when I look at it with the laptop(OEM software).

I got the same code, 2003 15 127, when I first looked on my Scanguage D. I have a 2002 International 3800 with the T444E. I'm wondering if this is just an odd code the Scanguage throws out as a test or something...?
