Anyone with NavKal and adapter in Houston, TX?

Does anyone in or near Houston, TX have a NavKal subscription? and a USB-Link adapter or similar?

If not maybe we can find enough people to go in on it for a 12 month subscription.

what are you trying to do with NavKal? I have a valid subscription. but really only thing ive found it good for is if you want to update your firmware for campaigns. or you want to use a newer ECM on your engine you can alter the VIN and ESN using Servicemaxx L3. and then download the latest firmware... or save an engine file and load it in.

NavKal Likes to operate online..

ServiceMaxx Level 3 is what you want to use if you are going to try and change heavy stuff like EFRC codes, Horsepower, and ESN's...

When you say ServiceMax Level 3 I assume you are not talking about the free version.

Basically I want to update all my calibrations and remove the password lock on my ECU/ECM so I can adjust my rpm limit.

I don't think you're gonna want to spin a DT faster than the standard 2600 in a school bus application.

you can spin a DT faster but why? you shorten its life according to navistar, and it makes it maximum HP at 2300. no reason to spin it faster than 2600..

when you say password lock, what all is Locked? VIN,ESN, Trans Type, RPM limit, HP, and EFRC are generally protected parameters that you can only use with ServiceMaxx L3.

do you have the adapter(nexiq or equivalent)?

My bus is limited to 2200rpm to limit the speed, I don't need to go faster but it makes for weird shift points. 2500-2600 would be perfect.

The rpm limit is password locked. The guy at the bus shop at the school didn't know the password. (i tried changing with their handheld unit).

I will be getting a Nexiq if no one around Houston has one I can borrow.
