First trip with new ATF. The 545 loves the new oil. No 1st to 2nd squeal and overall nicer shifting.

Walmart Supertech Dex 3

Nice. Is that one of the imitation syntech fluids?

Do you do anything about the fluid in the converter when you change fluids, or just let it mix?

I dont know how it would do on a 545 but on my old cars I always "spun" it out.. id drop the pan, pull the filter.. and then start the engine for about 5 seconds and it would spin the converter dry without running the pump long enough for any damage to occur.. I used to get quite a bit of fluid dropping out that way..
