nicely done!!!!!! the one diesel I rebuilt years ago had a lot of blowby for the first couple hundred miles..

did your new liners come pre-honed and rings pre-gapped or do you have to do all that? ive not done an in-frame kit on one before.. when i did my old Peugeot i had to gap the rings and hone the liners..

I honed the cylinders and installed new rings and seals. The bores were quite reasonable to start with. The gaps were good and I clocked them so the gaps don't lineup. I also had the head rebuilt, rockers reground, new connecting rod bearings and had the injectors remanufactured as they were not testing right.

Just more purging. This engine has a p-pump like some 90s Cummins. From going online, they seem to be tough priming.

New seals and rings, only honed and cleaned old liners and pistons.
