Engine Block heater plug in

We had a cold day yesterday and there was some snow on the ground. Thought I would plug in my bus for a few hours and verify that the heater works properly (the bus would have started fine without the electric heater, but I'd rather find out now if there is a problem).

Anyway, I had an extension cord over by the bus, went to plug it in, and I was like huh?

Looks like a NEMA 6-15 plug... which is rated for 250V. So do I just need an adapter to plug in a regular 110 cord that is probably on a 15 amp breaker, or is that heater really expecting 220?
