Might need driveshaft work...I have no idea of the relative lengths of an AT545 and an MT643. May need a new shift cable...if for no other reason than you might well end up destroying the old one getting it out. Might need the speedometer drive gear changed. I have to say that I have never seen an AT545 behind a DT466!
My DT466/MT643 with highway gears (1900RPM at 60MPH, I think 4.10's) gets 10-11MPG on a highway run through relatively flat terrain, 60-65MPH. Running through the Poconos dropped it to between 8 and 9MPG.
