Pot or flat flywheel

Reposting this , hoping to get a response this time

Hi, all. My bus build is coming along. Getting to the point that I want to do something with the clutch. The bus is a 90 IHC, dt466 with spicer 5 speed. It uses a single plate, pull clutch, I want to go to a twin disc, easy pedal or softer type clutch.
Has anyone had any experience using a pot flywheel as opposed to a flat? I have both.
Can I use the same trans or do I need to change that too?
I heard that the pot flywheel is too heavy and can't do the rpms but it gives you more inertia to maintain rpms. .
Anybody made this swap before?
