It might say on one of your vin stickers what the transmission is. If it is a md3060 there’s a long thread about unlocking the 6th gear so you can get your rpm’s down a little on the highway. It’ll only bring them down a little though like from 2500 to 2250 or so.
On my old Thomas with the 6.14 rear end ratio the rpm’s were at 2500 when going 65 mph. If you notice it next time your out. Those rpm’s don’t make for good gas mileage unfortunately.

Pretty sure its a 2000 series.
My last bus had the same setup but with 5.29 and I wanted higher gearing.
