Rear Differential Oil to use

What weight oil do I use and what is the capacity? I don't think it has been changed in over 15 years.

It is a 1981 International S1853 bus and this is the info I got of the axle and trying to identify what it is.
Part# RA39S1
Serial # 493903 C 91
KN 000993005
date 2-16-H81

Thanks for the help.

Just your normal 80/90w will do...unless you want to go synthetic. Probably 3 to 4 gallons, but thats just a guess.

Buy a 5 gal pail and a pump and have at it.

If you have a Rural King store nearby check out their prices. They sell oils and fluids in 2 gal, 5 gal, and even bigger jugs and for CHEAP.

$47.99 for a 5 gallon jug their store brand Harvest King.
