3126B Loss of Power then no start

Hello all!

'99 Thomas Saf-T-Liner ER
Recently replaced the HEUI pump and batteries. When I drove it I found two oil leaks. I took it to a local truck shop who said one was because of the o-ring on the oil line off the pump and the other was the power steering lines that had rusted out. They replaced the o ring and on the drive home I couldn't get over 30. When I got home I replaced the power steering lines but the bus would no longer start. I have gotten it to fire up for about 10-15 seconds but then abruptly shuts off then won't start again. I thought maybe it may be out of fuel so I put 10 gallons in but still nothing. I am in Texas so I don't think its cold enough for gelling.
Did the shop mess something up with the oil pump?
Did I mess something up with the power steering lines?
Is there yet another issue with my bus?

I can't seem to find what the issue may be and why it arised when it did.
Thanks for your help!

Loss of power, hard starting and short run duration sound like clogged fuel filter, or cracked/broken fuel line admitting air. It's not uncommon as things age, for rubber fuel lines to break down inside allowing chunks of rubber to clog filters or just plain collapse internally and stop fuel flow.
What is the HEVI pump you refer to?
Exactly what oil line did they replace the o-ring on?
Did it have engine oil pressure on your drive home.
Power steering lines should have no bearing on engine power or starting issues.

First things first, change fuel filters. Always prefill filters and wipe a little clean engine oil on sealing rings. When you prefill filters be sure your container is as clean as humanly possible and do not pour fuel in the large threaded center hole.
always fill through the small circle of holes surrounding the threaded mounting hole, cause that is the normal route for fuel flow and if by chance there was a bit of contamination come from your container it will be caught by the filter media. Now work the primer pump till you feel back pressure then try starting.
