5.9 engine pull

Any tips on pulling a 5.9 out of a carpenter flat nose front engine? My first one

Are you trying to preserve the carpenter? If not I would think taking the glass, dash, and anything in the way out and yanking it with a motor lift. I am sure it will have to come out the front, but I think you will need to remove quite a bit anyway.

I'm trying to save it. Just swap motors. It looks like it will come out the side door.

i've been contemplating engine swaps on my bluebird.

i think if i remove the radiator, charge air, fan shroud, i could get a cherry picker in there without touching the dash or glass.

idk nothing about any carpenter!

post lots of pictures.

good luck
