97 Ford ?

Hello, I looked at a 97 Ford and the Data plate has a Transmission Designation of AB. Any idea what that means?

Please people, when asking questions, be specific and tell us exactly what make and model you have it also helps to know what engine. On smaller vehicles a vin number search will tell you a lot of what you need to know.

When i posted this i had not yet been told what engine it had. The guy was going to have to drive 1 hr each way to get photos. I was trying to save him the drive if it could be identified as the AT545 Tranny that i don't want. As i turns out it is a CUMMINS 5.9 and the AT643. 120k. RV titled 110 electrical in conduit with 2 circuits and lights, receiver hitch, sound system, composting toilet and nearly new apartment fridge.

i bought for $2500.00 will go get it Tuesday or so. After Labor day traffic is over.
