Auxillary alternator.

Since my plan is to only keep one engine driven air conditioner the other pad was used to mount a Chrysler 149 amp alternator. I found one on EBAY with a douple shiv and also boght a adjutable voltage regulator. Then, when fitting it found out that the v belt was much smaller than the accesory drive v belt on the Cummins 5.9. Then, found out that they do not make one in the configuration needed. Finally found a Delco shiv that fit perfect but had to machine the inside of it to give the washer and nut clearance.
(And pay $45 bucks SO worth it).

Oh well, live and learn but after the belts are fitted it will be radiator time!
