I had a fuel pressure leak in my M1009, that was a pain in the butt to find and fix and took way too long. It didn't drip fuel, it was just enough to suck air. Air pressure applied to the tank can move fuel if you can seal it well enough but that's not super easy to do, I was priming it with the starter. It's a great way to reduce the life span of your starter!

i can post the pages from my 1995 shop manual , on fuel line bleeding, if that would help.

Running out to Napa and getting 50ft of hose. I feel better just replacing the whole run.

20+year old bus in Arizona heat, surprised it lasted this long

Now you're getting somewhere. Replace the hose. Pump the hand pump until you get fuel to the schraeder valve. Once you have fuel there, install the schraeder valve.

Then you loosen the injection lines at the injection pump, continue pumping the hand pump until you get fuel leaking at the lines. When a line starts leaking fuel, tighten that line up.

You won't get all of the lines to leak fuel, so once you get 3-4 of them tight, tighten the rest of the lines and loosen all of the lines up by the injectors. Do the same thing here by pumping and tightening the lines that leak.

Once you have 3-4 of the lines by the injectors tightened(should be the same 3-4 that you did at the pump), tighten them all and then try and start the bus. It will likely misfire a bunch until you get all of the air in the lines bled through, but it will at least be able to run this way.

If you need help getting the remaining lines bled, or if you have any other questions, ask away.

Check the hose size. My 1991 tc 2000 5.9 had different sizes for the supply and return. I would suggest measuring also the right hose is $.

I second the idea of using a secondary pressure source to help prime.
I used to carry a nitrogen bottle and regulator with me on the road for when not if my last work truck left me setting.
An air compressor will work.
A rag wrapped around the hose and pushed/friction fitted with a wrench to pack it into the tank fill neck will work.
The air pressure into the tank forces the fuel into the lines.
My trucks problems was the manual pump itself had a bad o-ring and didn't leak but was allowing air in and also didn't pump a dang thang?
That was on a duramax diesel with 400,000 and the pump was built into the filter housing with a bleed screw.
Pressurizing the tank is the only way I kept it on the road daily until I figured out its issue.
I have recently had to deal with one of my men filling a diesel welding machine with gasoline and running it till it ran like mess and pressurizing the tank is how I pushed all the wrong fuel out and primed everything
Put some fuel in it.
Get an air compressor but don't exceed your fuel line ratings.
Whatever your pump pressure supplies to the motor is all you should be pressurizing the tank to? If you go that route

It's alive!!!!

I replaced the fuel hose
Replaced the lift pump
Replaced the fuel filter

I did the manual pump till it got to the filter then loosened the injector lines one by one till all were showing signs of fuel.

Cranked it over and BAM! Started first time!

Can't tell you guys how appreciative I am of having the helpful suggestions. I'm pretty sure I would not have been able to get it done without the assistance.
