Looking at my own rat's nest and corroded undercarriage, my money is on wiring. We'll see...

Praise God! Thank-you SO MUCH Smartfly! I moved the plunger up and down with a wrench first manually, checked to make sure I had voltage, and then turned the key and bus started in two cranks!

Is the fuel shutoff working properly? Diesels usually stop because there isn't fuel.

also-tap on the tank and make sure it has fuel.
Gauges are notorious for being utterly horrible.

check if you have any emergency hatches/latches that aren't secured.

oh-I'd check all battery connections, all chassis grounds, all engine grounds and make sure they are clean & tight
I win on guess one!
Glad you're ready to roll!

Nope, yours don't count. You didn't give detailed step by step instructions.

No kidding. Hand holding only goes so far. Just so you know, you won't always get step by step instructions. You should learn the basics about your bus. The internet won't always be available. There will be times when you are somewhere and your bus won't start. It could be something as simple as a wire or relay. If you drove it there and parked it and now it doesn't start, you should have an idea where to start checking.

Did you get your electrical troubles resolved that operate your fuel shut off solenoid?

I had a simular trouble, here is the thread where; with help from other people on this forum I found the relay that was the trouble.
