I took a travel tour through Northern Montana / had to replace the compressor (which I should have just done a long time ago...) but rural Montana diesel mechanics charge a lot less than big city places [emoji2958]



New compressor... it’s pretty.
I had to also replace the air vacuum.

And - because my air lines were actually pumping a strong air flow - I had to replace a regulator (which had a leak before - and was surprisingly easy to change...).


Then - my height control valve went nutty. I took a trip over to Missoula to get the part from Harlow’s - and replaced the control valve - which was more challenging than the regulator, but still surprisingly simple.

I can say first hand from seeing the Biggie Bus and programming its computer, that its one of the healthiest T-444E's ive seen.. and a really solid Bus!

It is a very solid bus - with a strong engine (and thanks to you, Cruise control and it can hit 80MPH! (I've never gone over 70mph with it - it likes to cruise at 56MPH) Many years more to go on this bus. I hate to depart with it - but I think it would be better traveling rather than sitting through a Montana winter.

Oh no - I can’t give it up - I am working on building a tiny house that will withstand the winters up here - then eventually rebuild a bus for travel. [emoji51]

I spent yesterday morning cleaning out my bus - and realized that it only took 4 hours to clear out all the furniture / structure (except the Nature's Head - but that was incase I had to use it... it has since been taken out and cleaned).


It's neat having a clean slate to build again - possibilities are endless.

I was thinking of keeping the bus and just setting it up as a vacation / weekend Camper. Or sell it and buy a smaller bus for weekend excursions. Life is full of so many options and opportunities.

So - I am open to reasonable offers at this point!

Selling it for something smaller?
It seems small overall, but big enough to live comfortably in.

My bus is small being a cutaway style and for any more than just myself aboard, it would be too small for comfortable living.

Not sure how you've priced it, but good luck on your sale...

hang onto it and build it as a weekend warrior... this is a bus you know.. you know it runs fantastic and has been up to the challenges you have given it..



if you go buy a new one and now its learn all over again and hope you got a good-one...

Maybe I can build it out as a cozy little Airbnb...

That’s not a bad idea - my original plan was to have several small kennels in the bus - so I could safely travel with my then three dogs.
Now, with only one, it’s not as necessary - but I may add one for the odd stray we both know I will eventually come across!
