Today had the heavenly taste of working on Van based engines.
This did not start to bad.
The 7.3 powerstroke fuel pump damper was leaking.

Yes right there under the turbo, i was able to get an open wrench in there and loosen it up but could not get it out.
So tore some more off.

On my other van i had done similar jobs and it was not to bad until I decided to take a shortcut and the top bolt of the exhaust pipe to the turbo Y broke off.
It was loose and came out nice but the last 5/16" broke of . In my othet Van i had drilled a pilot hole into the turbo Y and put WD40 in it. Did that now also but after it broke off. Anyhow my shortcut took me 4 hours to drill and re-tap the hole.
I had a used spare damper and was able to screw that on.
Tomorrow I will install the exhaust again and see how it runs.
The fuel damper had a crack in it.
