I must stay here awhile as I have many things to do:
-buy new bus
-make it liveable
-make some gas/food money
-go sailing, and diving

when it starts to get hot/swampy I will get REALLY motivated to head north

Feb 10-13th (give or take a day or so). PM me for directions/address, we'd LOVE to have you out here for the weekend. Nothing monumental planned other than making some chili, having a fire, and raising a roof.

They don't do vin inspections or emissions or any of that in FL. If you bring in an out of state vehicle you have to have the vin inspected but that's just having a notary stamp a form. Changing the title to MH in FL only requires you to fill out a very simple affadavit saying that you have electric, plumbing, etc. The company you bought your bus from technically breaks the law by re-titling and lying on that affadavit. FWIW.

All you'll have to do when registering in FL is stand in line and pay them when the time comes.

F. Conversion Affidavit:

identity changed on the title in order to have it registered and licensed as a recreational
vehicle, the customer must submit an affidavit to the tax collector. The affidavit must
certify that the unit has been converted to the extent to include one of the aforementioned
items to qualify it as a recreational vehicle.
EXAMPLE:
This is to certify that I, ______________, owner of a (Year) __________,
(Make)_______, (VIN) ___________________, hereby request the vehicle be classified
as recreational vehicle for the following reason:
( ) Installed 110 volt electrical wiring
( ) Installed LP gas piping
( ) Installed plumbing system
