Probably roll and would have the body work done and prepped before coming.
There's a couple of patches on the back of the bus.

maybe cabin-bus could have a summer get together... im always driving one of my busses into florida or im down there in florida..

I Know im going to want to roadtrip red after it's great transmission upgrade...

DEV RANDOM has a project again that I need to use it for.. where I'll likely be running it and end up in florida at some point too.. its also been my daily driver since Red has turned into a "Bucking bronco" with its indecisive transmission.

LOL that's what I mean- Soundgarden are NOT a jam band... Look at the Bonnaroo lineup! They've got U2 and Lorde??? NO THANKS Last year was who, Lynyrd Skynyrd? THAT'S totally anti-hippie. Same with Korn, who headlined a couple years back. All the festivals are about these days is selling $10 beers and waiting in long lines.

The whole "hippie" scene is just way lame these days. But I'm spoiled I got to actually see Jerry play. I miss the REAL Deal Lot scene!

Yes... I'll take a couple of pics. I have a friend that is a metal fabricator, going to have him build me some storage boxes AND patch the rust spots.

Ok, cool
We can definitely have a paint party, then. If all we have to do is mask it and roll it, that won't be too bad.
What color scheme are you thinkin? I'd heartily suggest the flat eggshell white roof like Dave's for superior thermal performance, ease of application, price, and durability. We'll add a hardener to the paint to make it last longer.

in the summer in downtown Columbus.. there *IS* the COmmunity festival.. and while its started to get a little commercialized.. theres still a lot of local and semi-local Indie bands, and local art-booths, local food, etc at that... Local-weed too that the cops turn their heads that one weekend...

its always the weekend after Pride, so theres usually an interesting group of people as pride is fresh-in-mind so lots of deiverse people from hippies to LGBT folk.

years ago they used to turn off the lights in the park after midnight and let people camp.. but unfortunately that went by the wayside when a few bad apples ruined it.. I think some still try and camp...

That sounds really cool.
The cops in FL don't EVER seem to turn a blind eye. We went to a big cd release party in Sebastian with a bunch of bands/hippie folk a couple weeks ago. About five k9 cops constantly patrolling the whole night. One guy near us got busted and went to jail for a joint.

I totally agree with the flat eggshell white for the roof! The other colors I am going for are sticking with my beachy theme.

This is the color on the inside walls: https://goo.gl/images/wQRoCt
And I want to go with something similar on the outside.

This is the trim on the inside: https://goo.gl/images/wV32kD

I am totally and absolutely up for suggestions from everyone! The outside does not have to match the inside, but I totally want to stick to the beach theme. So suggest away!

Ever grateful to this group!
Sandi

Hey man I understand... I'm not hating on ya.
One of these days we'll get a date that works for ya. I plan on throwing a few skoolie gatherings every year. We got like twenty acres, so may as well take advantage of that!

Sandi- mines rusted similarly. I vote ANY color that's not tiffany blue! That inside color is close to tiffany. We're doing the Shorty that color!

Ford had a "coral" color back in the late 50's and 60's. (they may have called it something else) It may be something to look at for your beech theme. Matched with a "Sand"y color might be special for you, as well.

Then there was the GMs turquoise (sp) from back in the day

Whatever you chose will, I'm sure, be great.
