Hurricane Michael
Hello to all my Skoolie friends!
Who all is getting out of MIchael's way? We just arrived at our temporary hideout thanks to our very good friends Travis and Michelle. Unfortunately still in the Sport Bus as the Wanderlounge is still deep in the construction stage.

My brothers name is Michael and he probably would enjoy doing this to me right now?
I know NC is going to get rain for a few days again with this one.
But if anyone in Florida,Georgia SC area wanting to leave then YALL are welcome here.
Put a new roof on my house last weekend, and working on ceilings,walls in areas but we can give you a place to stay if needed.
If you are in your bus I have a place next to a Boy Scout hut with bathroom and kitchen but the electrical isn't great for a lot of plug in voltage.
But can fit 4-5 40's if you can drive it or I can help and several more smaller skoolies.
My home is always open to YALL but 1/2 of it is a construction zone right now.
I can promise a dry place with power,shower,AC,bed,toilet,food.
If YALL end up this direction and need it?

Even a for a campground situation?
I still have at least 3-weeks worth of dry food,can food, and water for 4-people and if needed it's yours but if your in my area or house then you get a hot,meal regardless of weather.

be safe!..
unfortunately i'll be driving in its outer bands as the job in savannah wouldnt cancel or push for a couple days so ive go to drive right towards its remnants.. (i'll be in my car or pickup.. nowhere to park the bus at the site in savannah.. and im not sure i want it to sit outside and get deluged by 5" of rain for 3 days either..

Everyone be careful out there. If anyone needs to head this far west, there is free parking on my street here in Houston. Just PM me for details.
Dredman spent 3-4 days here. I even have a 110 power outlet!

Tango that’s a nice area, I stashed my bus there for 4 or 5 days while staying in downtown Houston and had no issues. Nice wide street to park on in the area too. The gps will confuse the heck out of you getting there the first time ..

My family has land down there, in Overstreet. We haven't heard from the tenants yet, but a friend sent me a link to a map with aerial photos. House seems fine. The trees are a total loss though.
Don't look at Mexico Beach, it's just depressing
