I don't have my first in my possession yet but already have plans for a second. The first I have a specific idea and need for requiring the rear door. The second will be geared more for living in full time and will be a rear engine.

Lol yea. Look at another derby job. Easy fix. Planning a simple conversion to sell. Decent looking bus and an 08 with 80k . Not looking to get rich but if I turn enough profit to finish my conversion that would be great.

I bought the second one after I found out how much installing AC was going to be in the first one, was cheaper to buy one that had AC

About a year after figuring out the first bus was too small for our needs...

Lol,good stuff. I figure everyone says the second bus is the one you keep. So I am throwing it a curve wanting to buy 2,build the 2nd one first to sell, then build and keep the first one we have claimed as our own.
Unless someone offers good $ for it and I move to my prevost☺

im a bus geek so.....
My FIRST bus burned up in a fire years ago. (I started a thread here back in 09 when I got it).. that bus spent most of the 6 years i owned it in the garage.. really bad emotional time for me in Life.. the fire really re-sparked the strong interest Ive always had in busses.. so i went and got the DEV bus (carpenter).. about 4 months later i was kind of playing on an auction site and kind of won the byrd (redybrd)...
now theres kinda sort of another Superior / Ford that just popped up on the radar again...
none of my busses get "converted" in the sense that 99% of folks are here..
I suppose adding a Superior and then a Wayne would complete my bus purchases.. as id then have all the brands that really get me..
oh wait I kinda want a Safe-T-Liner C2..
oh and those neat little Thomas 8 window flat-nose shorties. are really awesome...
