PDX Area Skoolies?

Hello! We are just embarking on the skoolie life and would love to bring you some baked goods/beer/dog snuggles to let us check out your rig! We're in PDX and would love to come visit this weekend.

I am about 40 miles South of Portland, near Molalla. I have a 37' 1997 Thomas RE. I am in the cabinet and furniture building phase right now. I have a custom woodworking business. It's turning out pretty good. You're welcome to come over anytime!

Hey, Monsterbus! I'm also in PDX, and hoping to start my build sometime in the next few years. Were you able to find anyone locally who'd converted already?

One of my big hurdles right now is finding a place to do the build. I'm in an apartment with a small shared driveway, and I do not believe they would be okay with me taking it over with a bus conversion.

Hey so it's a month later, I guess I've been gone for awhile. But if you're still around Portland I have a "converted" bus. I wouldn't say it's done, but it's close enough for me to have moved in and slowed down a lot. Free time is spotty but I'd possibly consider giving a 7 minute tour (there's really not much to see).

I know this post is a bit old. Hopefully at least one person will see this though!
There is a skoolie fair going on in Oakridge, OR. It's about a 2 hour drive from PDX.
We already have tickets to go and are super excited about. There is a camping option as well as the option to volunteer and get free entry!
Website is thebusfair(dot)com

Hi fellow Oregonian. Thanks for the info on the skoolie fair. I will check out that website now.

Yeah, thanks for the tip! I'll see if my schedule works out for that, I'd love to drop in.
