It's good to see that you didn't go over your $$ limit for the bus. Some people seem to like bidding wars.

Got it thanks.

We could meet for lunch before we drive into the woods? Rod's Steak House is nice and not too expensive. ??

Excellent!

Take off 3.5 degrees F for every 1,000 ft. of altitude.

The old barnstormers used to sell aeroplane rides based on the promise that it would be "20 degrees cooler upstairs".

I remember years ago.. our family vacation in death valley.. in early JULY!! in a black IHC scout.. we had "air-conditioning".. nice for mom N dad in the front seats..

we took off early in the morning and it was 99 at 6am.. an hour and a half later we had ascended a mountain and there was snowflakes on the windshield....

The Temps will be in the low to mid 80's and mid 50's at night. It is monsoon so there will be some rain and T storms.

2 hour drive for us.

Williams forecast to be 84 for the get-together-weekend...going to be a nice adventure, and I'm sure BC will enjoy the cool after we have to go through Needles at 114 to get there

Is there an event on Facebook for this?

Monsoon is in full swing. I was just up near fossil springs for a night and the lightning show was spectacular.
