Skoolie Meet and Greet in AZ. July 14th 'til?
No. AZ has lots of 'docking space and it's summertime cool. Up around Williams/Dogtown Lake area there's pine trees and lots o' room. (Near 7000ft). Mary and I will definitely be here from July 14 for a few nights.
Close enough to The Grand Canyon/Bearizona/etc for day trips with the kids of all ages. Williams itself is quite interesting.
Maps
Vid of the road into/out of Dogtown and you can see it is forest. Around 35.195817 112.150639
Bearizona is excellent! Bearizona Wildlife Park
Any interest from Skoolies out there?
Mary, Don and Spooky the wonder cat are looking forward to meeting others.

That sounds nice, and I'd sure like to get a close look at your paintjob. Barring unforseen complications I'd be into being there. It's just past Lost Wages NV.

Don, Mary- I'd LOVE to make it out there. I'll see what work looks like. But when you're me, you gotta take the work when it comes, and mines in the summer. One of these days I'd love to meet yall, and see that BEAUTIFUL bus in person!

Loaded and ready to cruise north in the morning. 2 nights at our boondock site. I'll take pics and post 'em later. About 100mi each way, the wx looks cool and dry.

Home early, nice country but the wx was getting iffy. at 7200 ft, winter is still barely hanging on. It will be very nice in July!

Lots of flat forest to camp on, many fire rings. Trying to add vids.
From Williams AZ take 4th ave/st also called Perkinsville Road to turn off for Dog Town Lake, FR 140 ONE mile from turnoff, .7 from the FS kiosk, .2 from the spillway on 140.

sKOOL!
DON'T follow a GPS, trust me In Williams find 4th st and take that out of town, turn left on FR 140 (to dog town lake) and go 'til you cross over a concrete spillway thingy, a bit further to camp area. I'll PM my cell number. I'm planning a sign but just look for our rig....Assuming we get there first!

When I went to check it there was only 20 mins left and someone had already but higher than I wanted to. Later it said auction extended because the reserve was not met. Concluded that it's out of my price range.

You should put in low ball bids anyway because sometimes the winner defaults and you might get the bus anyway.
It only happened to me once in 20 years, but it can happen.
