Please let us all know when, and where. I met Christopher when he came to town to pick up his Redbyrd, and was looking forward to meeting other skooliers.
Tango... I didn't know that Mama's Last Concert was still around. I used to call on a shop that was directly across the street from them. Do you still need to knock on the door to get in?

Yes...the Last Concert is still standing and going strong since 1949 as a restaurant/bar (and much earlier as a cathouse/speakeasy). But Mama is long gone. And yep...ya still have to knock to get in. They just gussied it up with a new wall/fence and now even have a sign telling people what it is! What's this world coming to!?

I'm off work for the next two weeks so I'm up for a meet anywhere the group wants to get together.

I'm off until the 5th of Jan. Need to run HF down the road a bit sometime soon. I'm on the south side of Katy.

Did anything ever happen with a Texas Skoolie meetup? I'm in San Antonio and would love to meet some other skoolies.

Holy cow, I have no idea what is happening. Maybe too long of post. Sheesh !! Okay. Just before Christmas holidays, I posted the idea of a Texas Skoolie meet. Just thinking out loud. Quite a few of the local Houston Skoolies responded. I knew it was probably bad timing during the holidays, so I just kinda put it off. I was able to meet the FAMOUS TANGO at a friendly little neighborhood bar just north of downtown during Super Bowl weekend. Great little bar. Maybe a few of us can meet there again, sit down with a couple of beers and come up with something. I know schedules are chaotic at best. So it will be fun just coming g up with a day. Maybe a Saturday evening when traffic is not so bad. Just not this weekend....I have my grandkids...... lol. OKAY EVERYONE, GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK !!!

Yeah Cadillackid I understand. It's funny that I ever wound up with a bus. I guess I could be diagnosed with ADD because I feel that I am doomed to get behind every damn school bus there is when they are crossing a railroad track. I HATE SLOW POKES....... hahahahahaha !!!! Well if I can get these local guys to meet up for a couple of beers and try to come up with a plan, we'll definitely let the rest of you know........ SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN !!!!

Spring Break is feasible so long as my health and my wife's health holds out......

Houston area may even be close enough for Roxy and I to make it!

Yes!!

We're in Kerrville at the moment - 3 hours from Houston. Looking to be in Dallas the weekend of March 15th for a work weekend from a Facebook Skoolie group, but other than those days, I would love a chance to meet up with everyone!

And Chris, there would be no issues with hotels - Houston has PLENTY!

ECCB - would love to be able to meet you guys. Would you bring the new shorty?

Phatman, Tango, M1031A1, mdeese and any other Texas skoolies - LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN! After Skooliepalooza, all I wanna do is meet more skoolie folks.

With a couple other FL skoolies, we'd have ourselves a proper convoy!
Yeah, I'd have to take the shorty. My 92 needs tires, an airbag, and windows. Among many other things.
