The bear and honey bus, adventure begins.

We found this schoolies after many months of searching, here.
We were looking for a pre-converted bus as being international travellers on limited visas each visit we wanted to get more time on the road. It's not all plug and play, we have had plenty of teething problems and love the generosity and hospitality of the American people. We are currently in Cleveland, OH heading west for the summer. I'm sure we will be posting here with plenty of our problems and troubleshooting we encounter but here's our lighter thread. A collection of our photographs of our journey

Here's a few to set the scene, we are north east... Having picked up our bus in Utica, upstate New York we slowly made our way up to see the Niagara Falls.
We try avoid interstates at all costs, only due to the fact I enjoy driving the small country roads over highways and Biways.
We then followed Lake Erie west to where we are currently located in Clevland, Ohio. We will keep posting our travel shots here,
From Buka and Vieta on the bear and honey bus

Yes they're definitely going to want to see the Market and the Needle, among numerous other things. Actually you can pretty much see everything from the needle, which has good bus parking. Not so with the Market.

I'm at the end of the Oregon Trail and can also offer a parking spot. The usual casinos, museums and amazing coastal towns. Nearby Portland is known as a real foodie town. You'll enjoy traveling highway 101 on the coast but it takes about double the travel time compared to north and south on I-5.

If you're in northwest WA I'd recommend camping at Pillow Point, especially if you like agates. I like the 25 cent hot showers in WA campgrounds, but to be real it's more like 75 cents to wash everything.

These west coast states have high desserts, significant mountains, big fertile valleys and lots of coastline. Besides that we don't seem to like toll roads like they do back east. People in our toll booths kept falling asleep.

Thanks for the warm welcome and will post some before / after shots of the interior soon. Trying to source a workshop along the way and then the fun begins.

We have room for you (and any other Skoolie) about ten miles north of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Willis, Virginia... PM for arrangements if you're interested.
