It looks as if you have found a really nice W-lodge. It should give you a lot of trouble free miles.

Be aware that when it comes time to do routine maintenance, anyone can accomplish it with some basic hand tools.

When it comes to motor oil there are a lot of different opinions out there about which one is the best. Texaco's Ursa, Shell's Rotella, Chevron's Delo, Mobil's Delvac, and many others are good oils. What is important for you to remember is that you need to get the heavy duty diesel engine oil in 15W-40 wt and make sure it is NOT the LE version of the oil.

Costco and Wal-Mart usually have heavy duty diesel engine oil for sale on their shelves but in most cases, regardless of the brand of oil, it is the Low Emission (LE) versions which will kill your Cat. The LE oil has the ZDDP taken out of it which is essential to the proper lubrication of your pre-emissions engine.

Coupled with the ultra low sulphur fuel with bio-fuel added to it you need to make sure you are using good engine oil and keep your fuel filters clean. It is always a very good idea to carry extra fuel filters with you. When you purchase fuel, always purchase from some place that pumps a lot of fuel. Try not to fuel up while the tanker is dropping a new load into the underground storage tanks.

Good luck and keep us posted as to your travels. Happy trails to you and yours!
