YES! This link below will keep track of the votes

I've got my hands a bit full with life so it's a little half assed, but it should work for now.
Thank you to everyone who has participated in the vote, it really helps.
Currently, 7/29 weekend looks like a strong contender.

I wanted to throw this out there to see what people would think. I am looking at buying 10 Acres in Yakima, if I do, would you all want to park out there for the weekend?
Good: Free, open, lots of space
Bad: no utilities at all currently, could get very warm.
I could rent a water tank for the weekend, buttoner than that there would be not utilities.
If not this year, maybe I could host it in years to come. There will be more utilities next year.

I think this is a great idea which we should consider over any other campground! Since the idea of our skoolies is to be reasonably self-sustained, I would much rather familiarize ourselves with a territory and maybe we could all partake in improving it together so we could enjoy it over time? Such as trying to make a shaded veranda area or something? Many hands make light work, and I have a feeling we all are fairly handy.
I have never been to Yakima, and it's a 3 hour bus ride away which gives me some anxiety, but I am fully in support of the private get together idea.

Hi All,
Based off the information provided I think 7/29-7/30 is a good weekend at Fort Worden or around the general area.
Unfortunately, I have my own burdens of life weighing me down a bit too much for me to continue organizing this event. If we are able to rally ourselves and busses together I would love to attend this event for one day and night 7/29 and pay a deposit accordingly. I would love to attend more but being in the food service industry my weekend availability is severely limited.
If any of us are able to take on organizing/hosting the event from here it would be greatly appreciated.
If none of us are able to organize this event, I think it would be good to consider all of us booking sites individually.
I hope this works out.

Well, I just put in an offer on 15 Acres and the offer was accepted
I will be moving out to the land and setting the bus up for living in for a while till I can get a house out there.
If you all are interested we could do a get together at my property.

It's in Selah, about 25 minutes from Yakima.
The land is somewhat flat, but not totally flat. Right now it is totally undeveloped save for a driveway going in.
We are going to be living on it in our bus starting in August. We will then sell our house and buy a home to put on it.

So, is anyone still interested in a get-together?
I am still open to the idea of hosting this on my land out in the Yakima area. I think the date would have to be moved out a little to like late August or September. However the cost would be free and I have lots of space.

Is there still interest? I like the idea of meeting up in Selah. What do you all think?

if this happens like very very very soon I might make it. I'm in Oregon for another day or two then hitting the road again. Next scheduled stop is in Idaho, but depending on circumstances a stop in Washington isn't out of the question!

Ok!
We are beginning a new year. Shall we give this another try?
What do you all think? Is 2018 going to be the First Annual PNW Skoolie get together?

If you're talking about Shampooey Park, I'm in. I'm not traveling great distances until I get a few mechanical issues fixed.
