Nice tactical boots Jack. And is that a Glock or are you just happy to see me?!

Danners, Tango. None finer! And while I prefer a Glock, the Beretta 92 FS is about bullet proof. Ha, Ha. Jack

I'm glad this thread got resurrected - it's really neat to see what sort of backgrounds people have. I am so awed by how many of you served and protected - whether in the military or in law enforcement, that is so cool! Love that there are lots of others techies here, too, and of course, those of you with experience building things. What a great group!

One more thing we agree on Jack. I'll take the Beretta over a Glock any day, although I do admit a preference for the 96A1 .40.

Strange that on a school bus conversion site, hippies like myself are in the minority!

Gimme a Remington model 700 chambered in .308 with a Nikon Monarch optic any day. I won't have to worry about .40, 9mm, .357, or any caliber of crappy Glock!

Sorry, I just had to!

Fantastic combination...for 500 yards. But I'd hate to have to swing it in close quarters. That's where my old Winchester Defender really shines. Alternating rounds of 000 & rifled slugs. The Beretta makes for great back up there too.

Damn dirty, draft dodging hippies! When did you get back from Canada? Just kidding. I don't remember what movie I saw the "Dirty Hippie" comment from but it always pops in my head when I hear the word. I think that all of us that want to or do live in an rv/skoolie are gypsy by nature anyways. That is universal!

I always say, if want to spread some hate, use 308.
