I'm building a bulkhead wall behind the driver's seat and I was planning to hang my bike on the left side right behind the seat, but the handlebars and seat stick out into the aisle too far that way. I'll have to make the seat and handlebars quick-release in order for it to work.

I wonder if it would fit upside-down over the dashboard. Obviously have to move the bike when driving, which would be a pain.

City transit buses often have front-mount racks that allow bicyclists to hang their ride on the front. I'm sure something similar could be had or fabbed to fit your rig and needs.

I will be carrying a minimum of two bikes. In urban areas, I'll probably just bring them into the bus. For travel, I will have a rear receiver for a two-banger bike rack. I'm mounting it a little higher than normal so I don't drag on culverts or curbs.

I'm also buying two two-banger carrier hooks from LoLo out of Portland. I'm mounting those facing each other, high on the back. I'll let you know how those turn out.
