Bolted & welded 2' receiver to the tow hook plate, using (4) 5/8" grade 5 bolts, flat washers, split lock washers and nuts. Followed up with tack weld at each corner AND each bolt to ensure they will never loosen. A 6" drop hitch with a 2" ball results in a working height of 17" which is perfect.

We've got the same bus! I stumbled upon you while searching for the model. Question for you - does your have an ignition interlock system? If so, did you keep it intact or remove it?
