2002 International 3000 Fuel Gauge Non-Functional

Some time ago, not sure exactly when, my fuel gauge quit on me. When i bought the bus it was at about a quarter and worked, but some time between then and now it has stopped working. I guess i didn't notice? Reads empty at all times, and wont do the little dance at startup. I tried replacing the gauge itself, but it still persists which makes me think its something more. Anyone got any ideas for diagnosis or possible causes? Good thing i left the fuel sender hole open on the floor...

Good thing indeed because that's about the only thing left to check and replace. Check the wiring and connections first, though.

Also check the soldered connections on the gauge cluster where the wiring plug into it, they often fail but can be "reflowed" (re-soldered)
