AGM battery question

Am I correct that if I get a sealed AGM deep cycle house battery that I will not need to worry about venting it to the outside, and that likewise I could put the inverter in the same compartment with the batteries and not worry about the electronics getting corroded? This is not actually for my bus, but rather will be used as a portable power station that I can use in my other vehicles. Just a single small 12v 56AH battery paired with a small 400w inverter, both in a wood box with carry handles. Something like that... to be used for low amperage items like lights, fans, computer, radio, etc.

Re: AGM battery question

That is correct, AGM batteries are sealed and do not vent corrosive gases.
