Anyone know what this is?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know what this is for? Been chasing wires all day and noticed that one of the wires to god is completely fried. Wanted to confirm what this does before I repair it.

It’s on the floor by the petals. Three wires run to it.

Looks like an old school headlight high-low beam switch to me. How old did you say that thing was?

This is in a '93 International.

Both headlights recently went out and I've been trying to fix them. Found a burnt end leading into the push/pull headlamp switch in the dash and traced it to here.

That is you high/low beam switch, any auto parts store should have one

I have a “93” International that has a button just like that in pretty much the same location. Mine is to the air horn outside.

On my 2000 amtran FE that switch is for the air horn solenoid.

Even if it is currently the high beam switch, it would be awesome to re-wire it to an air horn, or maybe one of those super loud train horns.
