Auxilliary battery question

Hi there,

I'm wondering if the original electrical systems (lights, stereo) will run of my auxilliary battery when I connect it to the starter battery through an isolator. I'm putting one in for a camping trip shortly and would rather not go through figuring out how to rewire these systems.

Also, how quick will the alternator charge a 105 Ah auxilliary battery (typically)?

Thanks in advance!

A deep cycle lead batt takes 6+ hours to get to 100%, with all the current in the world makes no diff.

Few days a week is enough.
